Film Camp USA works through summer camps and afterschool programs to educate our next generation of filmmakers. With over 200 participants at the Missouri campus and throughout the state through its extension program, Film Camp USA gives junior high and high school students the tools they need to create video content and learn about the fields of media and entertainment. Film Camp USA

Film Camp USA is a state-wide youth program that provides children from Missouri the opportunity to become a master of their own stories while obtaining transferable skills through acting, storytelling, virtual and augmented reality in an effort for the children to make movies and memories. This inclusive youth program works through summer camps and afterschool programs to educate our next generation of filmmakers.

We're Making Movies!

Film Camp USA inspire young filmmakers to build meaningful connections with their peers, develop practical skills through STEAM, and exercise creativity while learning film industry practices to produce content they can confidently showcase.


Students with interests in filmmaking and the media industry will learn skills and trades from professionals. By the time our students finish the program, they will have the confidence, skills, and connections necessary to grow in the film industry.

The 2nd annual Film Camp USA presented by Inspired Lives Foundation and The Butler Group hosts a Hollywood-style Red Carpet Event on July 30, 2022, at the Blanche Touhill Performing Arts Center on the campus of University Of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL).
